“I don’t need SQLcl, I have SQLPlus.” You’re wrong.

SQLcl, Oracle’s alternative to SQLPlus, has been around for quite a while now. Still many people don’t realize what is has to offer, more than SQLPlus.

I often hear people say SQLcl is just like SQLPlus with “just a couple of little extras”.
If that’s what you think, you really need to come to this talk.

But also if you’ve already worked a bit with the tool, you might learn about some functionality you haven’t heard of before.

At a different event I once was given an hour and 40 minutes to do this talk, and even then I had to pick and chose what to mention and what not.

Let me show you what SQLcl can offer you, and I promise you’ll feel like a kid in a candy store.
